我們的詩班 Our Choir

聖馬田中文堂詩班是英國聖公會內為數不多的粵語詩班之一。此禮儀詩班每逢主日與聖品及平信徒一同帶領崇拜。我們既唱傳統聖詩，亦有現代敬拜歌曲。在頌唱聖餐崇拜中，我們會唱不同的禮文樂章。此外，我們的獻詩曲目涵蓋從Mendelssohn到Rutter等的作品。每年十二月，我們會以「九段經課與頌歌」慶祝將臨期與聖誕節，這可能是英國聖公會內惟一以粵語頌唱此崇拜的詩班。我們亦定期與來自上午十時英語崇拜的聖馬田堂詩班合作，在諸如聖靈降臨日、豐收節及守護聖者節等重要節慶共同獻唱。

The Choir of the Chinese-Speaking Congregation, St Martin-in-the-Fields is one of the very few Cantonese choirs in the Church of England. The liturgical choir joins with clergy and laity in leading our worship on Sundays. We sing traditional hymns as well as modern worship songs. In our sung Eucharists, we sing various mass settings. Our anthem repertoire ranges from Mendelssohn to Rutter. In December each year, we celebrate Advent and Christmas with a Festival of Nine Lesson and Carols, perhaps the only church in the Church of England offering this service in Cantonese. We also regularly join with the Choir of St Martin-in-the-Fields from the 10am English-speaking congregation to sing in some major festivals including Pentecost, Harvest Thanksgiving and Patronal Festival.
